Tamiya's Semi-Gloss black spray paint was used for the base coat. Then came the first color of
Alclad, which was a stainless steel. Thin coats worked the best. After I let that dry
for about 5 to 6 hours, I masked off some parts to paint Alclad Polished Aluminum. After the
Alclad had dried, I washed those areas with a thinned down black. A dry brushing of silver
highlighted the whole engine. Next came the interior. I panted most of the pieces
separately. The interior had three major colors, Polished Aluminum, Black, and Gray, and to me,
these colors made the interior "pop".
