Monthly Meeting – November 2018

Our November meeting was jam-packed! First we held a vote for new Officers for the 2019-2020 season. Alex Mierzejewski volunteered for President. Rudy Rudolph and Travis Blevins were volunteers for VP. Alex, of course, was voted in as new president with no competition. There was a tight competition for VP, but Travis ended up winning the position. Thanks to everyone who took part, and welcome to our new President and VP, Alex and Travis!

Also, big thanks to Bob Blevins and Ian Dow, who have been a great President and VP for the past two years.

We quickly followed with the final Model-of-the-Month contest of the year. Steve Freeman took the top spot with his Canadian Artillery. But the Modeler-of-the-Year, based on points across this year, is Alex. Congrats! See the entries below.

And finally, with our leftover time, we had Part 2 of the Painting Faces demo. Those who stuck around got to try their skill at painting and highlighting a demo figure. It was a good time.
