Monthly Meeting – July 2018

July is a Model-of-the-Month contest, and the members braved the summer heat and humidity to show up with an impressive 15 models on the table.

We also had a ‘recycle night’, where members brought in miscellaneous sprues, parts, magazines, and building materials. Everyone seemed to enjoy rooting through everyone else’s leftover stuff.

This month’s Model-of-the-Month winner is Mike Anderson. He impressed us all with his encyclopedic knowledge of the various studio scale Millennium Falcons, and how they applied to his contest entry. He brought in his personal photo reference book, which was bigger than most family albums. Congrats, Mike!
