IPMS Livonia members meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. At a typical meeting we will:
Socialize
Discuss club news, upcoming events, and new model releases
Give small demonstrations on plastic modeling techniques
On odd-numbered months, members bring in models to garner points for our Modeler of the Year award.
Although these serve as our “formal” meetings, we pride ourselves on our club’s relaxed and sociable atmosphere. We love to see new faces and introduce and learn about our visitors. There is no need to join on your first visit. Come check us out and see if our club is a good fit for you.
We also have one Build Day a month, where we actually build models. Find out more here.
And finally, we hold a couple of off-site parties per year, including our annual Christmas Party In February. Here we award our member Modeller of the Year, and pick the Model of the Year. Not to mention lots of food and a HUGE raffle.
