Monthly Meeting – August 2018

In August, we had a Just-For-Fun contest, and the theme was ‘LARGE SCALE’.  All categories were open.  We had quite a few giant models on the table.  But all of them were still able to fit on the display stand.  Chris Nichols is pretty much the King of large scale in our club.  He has always wowed us with his spacecraft, tanks, and other large scale models.  This month, he impressed us all with a series of large, interactive tanks.  But it was Travis who pulled off a win this month.

Travis Blevins won this month’s contest with his Tamiya Ferrari 312T4 in 1/12th scale.

This was a 14-day build!
